Red River Valley Horse Show Association

The Red River Valley Horse Show Association has provided horse shows and other horse events for members and non-members since 1978. Horse events are normally held at the Grand Forks County Fairgrounds Arena, but have also been held at other locations. The current Grand Forks County Fairgrounds Arena was built as a joint venture between the RRVHSA and the Greater Grand Forks Fair. The arena was enlarged, turned 90 degrees, and completely replace by steel panels. A warmup arena is located where the former arena gate was located. Bleachers are located around the arena. A new Crow's Nest and storage facility, also a joint venture between the 2 organizations, was also built. The arena is equipped with lights so events can be held in the evening throughout the Spring, Summer, and Fall.

The arena is located beside the steel pole building used as a barn on the grounds. Water and electricity are available at the barn (electricity is also available at the Crow's Nest). The Fair owns 20 box stalls that are set up all summer. These stalls are often rented out for weekends when multi-day events are held. The RRVHSA holds both horse shows and barrel runs during the Summer months. The schedule can be found under events on this website and on the RRVHSA website. The RRVHSA also has a Facebook page.
