Friday Night
Welcome to the Bullring!
Racing has been part of the Fairgrounds in Grand Forks from the beginning. The River Cities Speedway at the Grand Forks County Fairgrounds is one of the top dirt tracks in the country. So it only makes sense that we include racing as part of the entertainment at the Greater Grand Forks Fair. Racing is held every Friday Night during the Summer, and it is held on Friday at the Fair. Racing at the Greater Grand Forks Fair is sponsored by Buffalo Wild Wings.
Four classes of cars will be racing on Friday, The headline class is the NOSA 410 Sprints. Also on tap is the NRLA Late Models. The other 2 classes are the Lightening Sprints and the Micro Sprints. The latter 2 classes are not normally part of the Friday Night Racing Series, but are great beginning classes for some of our younger racers.
Entry into the grandstands for racing at the Fair is included in your Gate Fee of $5 for everyone aged 7 and older. That is

THE RACES FOR SATURDAY NIGHT HAVE BEEN CANCELLED! Come out for some great music under the big tent with ZZ3 and Ricochet.
We have a 2nd night of racing on tap for Saturday Night at the Fair. Tonight we are showcasing some car classes that don't normally race at River Cities Speedway. This is a great chance to see some different cars in the Bullring. And if you haven't seen live auto racing before, this is a great night to start.
The first 2 classes are repeats from Friday Night. The Lightening Sprints and Micro Sprints are back for a 2nd straight night. In addition to these 2 classes, The A Mods and Legends return to River Cities Speedway. The A Mods are the largest cars of all classes on the Saturday schedule. The Legends are built to look like cars from the 1930's to 1950's, so it's almost like watching the early days of NASCAR. All 4 classes are a lot of fun and this is a perfect night to bring the youngsters out to watch some racing action.
The $5 Gate Fee gets you in the door and you can see what all the fuss and noise is about.

Sunday Afternoon Home of Economy Tractor Pull
The Home of Economy Modified Truck and Tractor Pull has been CANCELLED due to wet grounds from yesterday's storm.
If you need to experience MORE POWER, you need to be at the Fair on Sunday afternoon. The Red River Valley Pullers are coming to the Greater Grand Forks Fair for the Home of Economy Modified Truck and Tractor Pull. This isn't your grandfather's tractor pull. These are the Big Boys of Pulling. See some of the top Modified Tractors and Trucks in the region trying to win their class. Watch the smoke pouring out of the stacks and hear the roar of the engines as they see who can pull the farthest. If that isn't enough, a few of your grandfather's tractors might show up to do a little pulling, too.
$5 gets you in the gate for the Fair, and in the Grandstand for the Tractor Pull. Come out to see the action, and spend some time wandering through the other exhibits on a Sunday afternoon.
