Banana Derby

The Banana Derby is the hottest Grounds Entertainment act on the Fair circuit. America's Favorite Jockeys come to the Greater Grand Forks Fair for a series of races. Come out for the exciting race action, some fun around the race times, and maybe even some photo opportunities. This is the first trip to North Dakota for the Banana Derby. They will be racing several times every day of the Fair near the Food Court.

Jennifer's All Creatures Barnyard Races

Everyone loves to watch small pigs racing around a track. But why stop there. These guys bring pigs, turkeys, geese, and more to compete. The racing action is fierce, and the cute is off the chart. There's even a chance to do a little wagering on the action. Racing takes place multiple times per day near the 4-H Building west of the Midway.

NASCAR Experience

The Nascar Experience can put you behind the wheel of an authentic NASCAR race car and let you see what it's like to go bumper to bumper at 190 mph. "This is the trainer that NASCAR drivers use before they race," the course, the engine noise roaring out of the amplifiers. Even the vibration is felt in the race car! It is a 4 speed shifter that give you precise timing. Find the NASCAR Experience under the tent near the Food Court.

KIDZ SCIENCE SAFARI

The Kidz Science Safari is a mobile, fully interactive, traveling children's museum indoor activity. It features at least 14 “hands-on” science based educational exhibits that appeal especially to children, grades K-6th. The Science Safari is located in the Kids Zone Building near the east gate of the Fair.

West Texas Rattlesnake Show

Rattlesnake Dave brings years of experience handling and teaching about rattlesnakes. He will do 3 shows per day on Saturday and Sunday in the Kids Zone Building. Each show teaches the audience a little bit about rattlesnakes, and how professionals handle snakes safely. The show finishes with a display of how fast a rattlesnake can strike. The entire show is done inside a glass enclosure, so it is safe for all ages.

Dave will have his rattlesnakes on display at he Norman County Fair in Ada, Minnesota on Thursday, June 21st and Friday, June 22nd.
